In April this year, e|net and Carlow County Council launched Ireland's first open access wifi network. The first of its kind in Ireland, the network is being delivered almost three years ahead of Dublin's proposed wifi network and covers 50% of the businesses and 10% of residences in Carlow town.
Working with Evolution Systems, the network has now been optimised to deliver the best possible user experience for both static and mobile users.
